Research Sections

The know-how and the skills of the Department are organized into several research areas identified as 8 Sections, all belonging to the field of Civil and Environmental Engineering. Each Section is composed by groups of researchers dealing with advanced research and technology transfer activities. Laboratories

The Department has 14 specialized laboratories, which bring together the core competencies and know-how of the sector, providing essential and valuable tools for the development and implementation of research.
Moreover, it has interdepartmental laboratories involving research groups from several Departments, aimed at developing and coordinating important multi-year and interdisciplinary basic and/or applied research activities.
