ISG (International Service for the Geoid) 

The International Service for the Geoid Laboratory (ISG) is an official service of the International Association of Geodesy (IAG). The laboratory carries out activities in support of the University’s research and provides services for external bodies and the international scientific community. The main topics covered by the laboratory are: collecting, validating and redistributing local and regional geoid models through a constantly updated online archive; collecting and distributing geoid calculation software; conducting research on geoid calculation techniques and their application especially in developing countries; organizing international schools and training activities on geoid determination; managing and publishing a scientific journal (Newton’s Bulletin).
