In particular, the research focuses on processing and integration of geo-spatial reference observationsdata both with classical (geo)statistical methods as well asand with methods based on Artificial Intelligence. The acquisition and processing of data in the field of Citizen Science is also studiedconsidered, as well as the management of Geo big-data. Besides, tThe use of geospatial data for emergency management is also consideredinvestigated. A specific research line of research is represented by the Geographical Information Systems, regarding their design and implementation, both asat Desktop scale systems and with respect toand on multidimensional geoWeb infrastructures and platforms. GThe geo-spatial data management is also addressed at the level of detail of a building, or infrastructure level of detail, in the context of BIM technology (Building Information Systems).
