ICTAM will virtual take place in Milan from 22 to 27 of August. The congress aims at gathering the scientific community from around the world to discuss about the new progresses in mechanics and its continuously growing field of applications. It as a unique occasion to discuss of science, strengthen relationships and create new contacts.  ICTAM congresses are organized every four years under the auspices of the International Union of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (IUTAM). The organization of the ICTAM-Virtual Milan congress is specifically supported by AIMETA  (Italian Association of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics) in collaboration with Politecnico di Milano and the University of Pavia.

The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (DICA – Politecnico di Milano) is actively involved in the congress, with Prof. Alberto Corigliano as President; prof. Umberto Perego as Secretary General and many others colleagues involved in the  Local Organizing Commitee or in the management of the congress.
