ECHOES-Nosedo

ECHOES-Nosedo aims to quantify the role of the ancient agricultural practice of Lombard water-meadows (“marcite”) in strengthening environmental and sociocultural resilience. The ECHOES Lab, a participatory field laboratory at Cascina Nosedo, contributes to this and other goals, including: the promotion of dialogue and mutual learning between the local community and the environment; applying conservative restoration to small hydraulic artifacts; creating an itinerary from Nosedo to Chiaravalle with signage to learn about the values of the marcita; co-building open educational paths dedicated to knowledge and care of the landscape.
