Abstract
Il 21 maggio 2025 dalle ore 16:30 alle 18:30 si terrà il primo incontro kick-off di “Facciamo Luce”, un’iniziativa di mappatura umanitaria collaborativa dedicata alla città di Milano e al suo sistema di illuminazione pubblica.
Promosso da Wikimedia Italia, PoliMappers e TomTom, il progetto ha l’obiettivo di far conoscere ai cittadini lo stato attuale dell’illuminazione urbana attraverso la mappatura collaborativa, per individuare le strade e i percorsi più illuminati.
Lo scopo è rendere la mappa di OpenStreetMap un punto di riferimento per individuare i percorsi più sicuri, soprattutto nelle ore serali.
È previsto un secondo appuntamento il 4 giugno 2025, anch’esso dalle 16:30 alle 18:00.

Dottoranda in geomatica al Politecnico di Milano, DICA. Co-fondatrice di PoliMappers e membro attivo della comunità di OpenStreetMap dal 2016, è parte dell’OSMF State of the Map Working Group dal 2020. Nel 2022, è stata nominata OSGeo Charter Member.
Dina Jovanović
Postdoctoral Research Fellow presso il Politecnico di Milano, DABC. Officer di PoliMappers, è un membro attivo della comunità italiana e serba di OpenStreetMap dal 2018.
Quang Huy Nguyen
Research fellow presso il GEOlab del Politecnico di Milano, DICA, e membro attivo della comunità italiana e vietnamita di OpenStreetMap. I suoi principali temi di interesse sono i Volunteered Geography Information come OpenStreetMap e l’applicazione di tecnologie Open-Source nell’ambito geospaziale.
Anisa Kuci
Community manager della comunità italiana di OpenStreetMap per Wikimedia Italia. Membro attivo della comunità italiana e albanese legata a tematiche FLOSS (Free Libre Open Source Software, dal 2020 si occupa del coordinamento e supporto alle attività dei volontari italiani nell’ecosistema di Wikimedia.
Francesca Lissoni
Presente in Wikimedia Italia dal 2013, negli anni si è occupata di amministrazione, controllo di gestione e attività correnti dell’ufficio. Oggi ricopre il ruolo di Coordinatrice della Raccolta fondi.
Chiara Angiolini
Partner Development Manager di TomTom con base in Italia con una lunga carriera nel settore della cartografia digitale iniziata nel 2001 con TeleAtlas. L’impegno nel promuovere la collaborazione con aziende e pubbliche amministrazioni è esemplificato dalla sua collaborazione con le comunità OpenStreetMap (OSM) dal 2022.

Speaker’s bio
Federica Gaspari
PhD student in Geomatics at Politecnico di Milano, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. She earned her MSc in Environmental and Land Planning Engineering in 2020. Her primary research focuses on the fusion, management, and visualization of geospatial data for the built and natural environment, utilizing Free and Open Source technologies. She is a co-founder of PoliMappers and has been an active member of the OpenStreetMap community since 2016, serving on the State of the Map Working Group since 2020. In 2022, she was elected as an OSGeo Charter Member.
Dina Jovanović
Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Politecnico di Milano in the Department of Architecture, Built Environment, and Construction Engineering (DABC). She defended her doctoral degree with honours in 2024. Since 2019, she has been a teaching assistant in various Architectural Preservation Studios at Politecnico di Milano and has also contributed as a lecturer and assistant in the BIM A+ European Master program. Her research spans BIM and GIS, with a particular focus on historical cartography and mapping. She participated in numerous projects, ranging from urban planning to the management of archaeological sites. She’s an active member of the OpenStreetMap Serbian community and of PoliMappers since 2018.
Quang Huy Nguyen
He obtained B.Sc. in Urban and Regional Planning (Hanoi Architectural University, 2019), MSc in Urban project, Heritage and Sustainable Development (ENSA Toulouse and Hanoi Architectural University, 2022) and MSc in Landscape Architecture, Land Landscape Heritage in (Politecnico di Milano, 2024). Currently, he works as a research fellowship at the GEOlab of Politecnico di Milano. His main topic of interest is Volunteered Geography Information such as OpenStreetMap and Open-Source technology application in geography.
