Professor Roberto Paolucci has been confirmed as a member of “Commissione Grandi Rischi” and as the contact person for the Seismic Risk Sector, a role he has held since 2018. This role involves coordinating sector activities with the leadership of the Department of Civil Protection.
“Commissione Grandi Rischi” is the technical-scientific advisory body of the Department of Civil Protection (DPC). It is convened both in emergency conditions, as in the case of the ongoing seismic-volcanic crisis in the Campi Flegrei, and to provide opinions on the mitigation activities carried out by the DPC in various risk sectors affecting civil society.
The composition of the Grand Risks Commission is renewed every 5 years, and the appointment of new members for the 2023-2028 five-year period was published in the Official Gazette a few weeks ago.
Il Prof. Roberto Paolucci è stato confermato membro della Commissione Grandi Rischi e referente per il Settore Rischio Sismico, ruolo già coperto dal 2018, che comporta il coordinamento delle attività del settore con i vertici del Dipartimento della Protezione Civile.

Viene convocata sia in condizioni di emergenza, come nel caso della crisi sismico-vulcanica in corso ai Campi Flegrei, sia per dare pareri nelle attività di mitigazione che il DPC svolge nei vari settori di rischio che coinvolgono la società civile.
