Welcome to the DICA Olympic Games!
Each sport has its own rules, so check the table on the next page to choose wisely.
The event is open to PhD students, research fellows, researchers, professors and technical-administrative staff. Some sports require a Basic subscription, which costs €30. The Basic subscription for PoliMi employees allows you to obtain the Silver subscription for free.
The two subscriptions combined include the following:
- Medical examination for the certificate for non-competitive sports activities
- Insurance
- Free rental of padel rackets
- Access to the changing rooms, the athletics track, the callisthenics area, and the 3 vs 3 basketball court
Some sports require a certificate for non-competitive sports activities: you can use the one you may have or, with the Basic subscription, request a free medical examination at the Giuriati Sports Centre.
Some tournaments are also open to employees of the entire Politecnico di Milano or the entire population! In this case, an internal ranking will be drawn up based on the positioning of our teams.
What to do to participate in the DICA Olympic Games:
- Sign up, choose the sports you want to participate in
- Based on the number of participants, for each sport it will be assessed whether there are enough members and what will be the modalities of execution
- You will be contacted to confirm the competition and to provide you with helpful information. If you have already chosen your teammates, you will communicate it
- You can proceed, where required, by sending the certificate for non-competitive sports activities and proof of purchase of the Silver subscription

Benvenuti ai DICA Olympic Games!
Ogni sport ha le sue regole, quindi controllate la tabella nella prossima pagina, per scegliere consapevolmente.
L’evento è aperto a dottorandi, assegnisti, ricercatori, professori e al personale tecnico-amministrativo.
Alcuni sport richiedono l’abbonamento Basic, che costa 30€. L’abbonamento Basic per i dipendenti del PoliMi permette di ottenere gratuitamente l’abbonamento Silver.
I due abbonamenti combinati comprendono:
- Visita medica per il rilascio del certificato di idoneità sportiva non agonistica
- Assicurazione
- Noleggio gratuito delle racchette da padel
- Accesso agli spogliatoi, alla pista di atletica, all’area calisthenics e al campo da basket 3 vs 3
Alcuni sport richiedono il certificato di idoneità sportiva non agonistica: potete utilizzare quello che eventualmente avete oppure, tramite l’abbonamento Basic, potete richiedere una visita medica gratuita presso il Centro sportivo Giuriati.
Alcuni tornei sono aperti anche ai dipendenti di tutto il Politecnico di Milano o a tutta la popolazione! In tal caso, verrà stilata una classifica interna in base al posizionamento delle nostre squadre.
Cosa fare per partecipare ai DICA Olympic Games:
- Iscrivetevi, scegliendo gli sport a cui volete partecipare
- Sulla base del numero di partecipanti, per ogni sport verrà valutato se ci siano abbastanza iscritti e quali saranno le modalità di svolgimento
- Verrete contattati per la conferma della competizione e per fornirvi informazioni utili. Se avete già scelto i vostri compagni di squadra, lo potrete comunicare.
- Potrete procedere, ove richiesto, a inviare il certificato di idoneità sportiva e la prova dell’acquisto dell’abbonamento Silver
