Alessandra Bonfanti, has been awarded AIMETA Junior Prize 2026 in Solid and Structural Mechanics byAIMETA, the Italian Association of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics.

The prize was presented during a dedicated session of the XXVII AIMETA Congress, held in Brescia from 7 to 10 September 2026, where each winner had the opportunity to present the work for which the award was granted.

Founded in 1966 and celebrating its sixtieth anniversary this year, AIMETA brings together researchers working across the various branches of mechanics, from general and fluid mechanics to the mechanics of solids, structures and machines.
