Chiara Gaddi, PhD student in Structural, Seismic and Geotechnical Engineering at our Department, has been awarded the third prize of the Doctoral Thesis Award at the 16th fib International PhD Symposium in Civil Engineering, held at BOKU University in Vienna from 9 to 11 September 2026.

The Symposium is promoted by the fib (Fédération internationale du béton), the International Federation for Structural Concrete, and brings together PhD students from all over the world working in the field of civil engineering.

Chiara Gaddi carries out her research under the supervision of Prof. Marco di Prisco and the co-supervision of Prof. Matteo Colombo.
