Professor Mario Grosso, has been appointed Senior Editor-in-Chief of the international scientific journal Waste Management & Research: The Journal for a Sustainable Circular Economy, the official journal of the International Solid Waste Association (ISWA) and a worldwide reference for research on sustainable waste management and the circular economy.

Professor Grosso co-coordinates the research group AWARE (Assessment on WAste and REsources) research group and carries out research on waste prevention, recovery and integrated management, flue gas treatment technologies, and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA).
