CARIOQA aims at developping a new technology to be used in space within the next decade: quantum gravimeter/accelerometer. Such technology will be used for satellite-based Earth science in order to monitor climate change and thus support the development of mitigation and adaption measures. The technology developped within the CARIOQA framework aims to be tested during a spatial mission: the Quantum Pathfinder Mission.
Nell’ambito delle azioni previste dal Piano Strategico di Ateneo a sostegno della ricerca, è stato assegnato alla Prof.ssa Valentina Zega un Seed Fund del valore di €150.000.
Il finanziamento è finalizzato ad avviare e supportare le attività di ricerca sviluppate nell’ambito della proposta “Frequency combs beyond optics: harnessing signals with nonlinearities”, con cui la Prof.ssa Zega ha raggiunto la seconda fase di selezione del recente bando FIS Starting Grant.
