Francesco Foti and Professor Luca Martinelli were awarded during the biennial conference of the Organization Internationale Pour l’Etude des Cables (OIPEEC) in 2024, where 157 delegates from 27 nations gathered to discuss the latest developments in the cable industry.
Their contribution, titled “Analytical Model and its Implementation in the Steel Wire Rope Industry” represents a collaboration between Politecnico di Milano, with Foti and Martinelli, and Teufelberger-Redaelli Tecna S.p.A., with Maurizio Meleddu and Najih Amin Muhammad. This work was distinguished with the second prize for best presentation, thus highlighting its relevance and the innovation it brings to the sector.
Francesco Foti e il Prof. Luca Martinelli sono stati premiati durante la conferenza biennale del 2024 dell’Organization Internationale Pour l’Etude des Cables (OIPEEC), dove 157 delegati provenienti da 27 nazioni si sono riuniti per discutere gli ultimi sviluppi nel settore dei cavi.
Il loro contributo, intitolato “Analytical Model and its Implementation in the Steel Wire Rope Industry“, rappresenta una collaborazione tra il Politecnico di Milano, con Foti e Martinelli, e la Teufelberger-Redaelli Tecna S.p.A., con Maurizio Meleddu e Najih Amin Muhammad. Questo lavoro è stato distinto con il secondo premio come migliore presentazione, evidenziando così la sua rilevanza e l’innovazione che porta al settore.
