As the share of the world population living in cities continues to increase, so will worsen<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>the impact on the climate and its detrimental effects on the wellbeing of citizens. This gravening situation&nbsp;<strong>calls for more resilient<\/strong>&nbsp;environments and urban development strategies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">ABOUT<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Harmonia aims to unite all relevant stakeholders around the issue of Climate Change<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The HARMONIA platform will be\u00a0<strong>user friendly<\/strong>\u00a0and allow stakeholders to not only understand but also visualize the impact of CC across different environments.<br><br>This will enhance cities\u2019 preparedness to\u00a0<strong>respond to specific predictions, such as floods or dust storms<\/strong>, and protect their residents and assets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Harmonia will leverage existing services and technologies to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Develop<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A platform to help local policymakers and citizens understand the effects of CC<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Provide<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Actionable data for smarter development strategies<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Generate<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Opportunities for business growth and urban sustainability<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Problem Urban areas are particularly&nbsp;vulnerable to the effects of climate change.
