DESCRIPTION:Il prossimo appuntamento con la serie di incontri PhDTalks si terrà Martedì 4 Ottobre nell’aula 3.1.4\, dalle 18:15 alle 19:15 CET. \nPhDTalks è una serie di seminari e discussioni tra dottorandi. Gli eventi hanno lo scopo di fornire un luogo dove creare un network tra dottorandi ed entrare in contatto con i molti progetti sviluppati nel nostro dipartimento. \nLo speaker Omer M. O. Abdalla condurrà un seminario dal titolo “PMUTS Arrays for Bolted-Joints Monitoring”.  \nAbstract: \nStructural-Health-Monitoring relies on micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS) for reliable identification of damage and deterioration of structures.\nIn the present work\, MEMS-based sensors\, namely piezoelectric-micromachined-ultrasonic transducers (PMUTs)\, are used to assess and monitor the pre-tensioning of a bolted joint structural system.
