Professor Monica Riva of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, has been awarded as Outstanding Editor 2020 from the European Geosciences Union (Hydrological Sciences Division): a recognition for her important contribution as Editor of the scientific journal Hydrology and Earth System Sciences.

Every year, the recognition is assigned to those Editors that distinguished themselves for their particularly outstanding activities to maintain and further develop the high international standards and reputation of the journal.
