Pesticide wastes are a serious environmental concern due to the irreversible damage they can cause. The EU-funded RECYCLE project will develop methods and approaches to trap pesticide components in drained agricultural areas and in the sediments of eutrophic streams. This new technology will facilitate the recycling of pesticide components for reuse in agricultural practices.
